At American IIS, we are committed to teach our students from the HEART:
Hear out and understand our children.
Encourage the children to have their own voice. If there are any disagreements, the children will never be belittled.
Acknowledge each student’s individuality and potential for greatness. Remember to encourage correct behavior and redirect unwanted behavior. Teach the children to always be truthful and understanding with each other and the staff.
Misión
En American IIS, nos comprometemos a enseñar a nuestros estudiantes desde el CORAZÓN (HEART):
Hacer que nuestros niños se sientan escuchados y comprendidos es fundamental para su desarrollo emocional y social.
Encorajar a los niños a expresar su propia voz es esencial. En caso de desacuerdo, nunca se les debe menospreciar, sino que se debe fomentar el respeto y el entendimiento mutuo.
Apreciar la individualidad de cada estudiante y admirar su potencial de grandeza es esencial para su desarrollo y autoestima.
Recordar y alentar el comportamiento correcto y redirigir el comportamiento no deseado.
Tener como objetivo enseñar a los niños a ser siempre sinceros y comprensivos tanto entre ellos como con el personal fomenta un ambiente de respeto y empatía.
